Well, looks like I’m lost again. at iconogeek

So, just as I finished telling myself “They’re giving us all the answers! Time travel, they’re unstuck, Ben did it, they need to get back and save everyone.” LOST throws me a curve and does what it does best – gives some answers and leaves even more questions.

So here are some thoughts:

1. The whispers heard in the jungle throughout the first several seasons are not only Others, but could be the time travellers as they jump through time. The people in the current time-frame can’t see them, but can hear them, somewhat. I’m thinking this because of something Faraday said – “If it happened, it can’t be changed.” Maybe to themselves, they are slightly out-of-phase? OR, maybe I’m just tired
Ben is wicked devious. It’s so hard to read him though. What is his end-game?
What’s the deal with the butcher?
Does anyone else think it’s funny that Jack is now going on faith?
Sun is now a badass! I’m am curious to see what happens when her and Ben meet.
So Locke is not dead. I am pretty sure he will come back to life on the island – maybe through a time incident, but he will come back.
I love the fact that the Dharma Initiative is back in the game. We lost them a bit, but now maybe we’ll find out who the hell Hanso is.
Anyone else REALLY intrigued about Richard now?

OK, that’s it, not a very substantive post, but I had to do a bit of a brain dump. OK, gotta run and catch some Z’s.

So I just watched it for the second time…here are some quick thoughts

1. Hurley has never been better or funnier than in this episode…”He has a second life doing crazy ninja moves and spy stuff”
2. I almost thought for a second we were going to see Boone, and than Mr. Eko…later on this season I’m betting.
3. Jack is a mixed up dude.
4. Daniel Faraday is my favorite physicist…he has tons to offer and I really want to see his back story…wazzup with his mom?
5. Desmond = The One (for all you Matrix-fans)
6. I’m thinking Daniel Faraday has something more to offer the Dr. who does all the videos for the Dharma Initiative (I can’t remember his name). They’ve either met before, or Daniel has been dying to meet him…I can’t figure it out yet based on the quick second we saw them near each other yet.
7. Richard is privy to all the information we need. And is awesome.
8. Sun is definitely a Cold Hearted Bitch, and I dig it.
9. Sawyer giveth, and Sawyer taketh away…

Richard is the bomb. But I don’t know about these time travel rules. Seems like if someone interacts with a time traveler at all–such as Ethan finding Locke and talking to him, and presumably watching him disappear–then wouldn’t the simple fact that you spent time on that alter your subsequent experiences?

I think they should have gone with the old multiple universe thing if they wanted to hop around different realities.

Anyway, my new hunch is that the infant son Dr. Chang is taking care of before going to work to shoot the latest orientation film, is the psychic Asian guy as a baby.

Doug, that’s very intriguing, however the fact that Faraday says that you can’t change the future would mean that Ethan did actually meet Locke in the past. I would hope the writers will circle around and close that gap.

The multiple universe thing I think would be too easy. I think they are playing around with String Theory, yes? I don’t know too much bout it, but it appears to be what Faraday wa talking about. No divergence once you re on a line.

Dube: He’s a master of time travelso time isn’t an issue Plus he probably has Widmore do it – which explains why he’s so pissed!

OK, the show is TiVoing now, gotta get back to it!

Oh, Doug, you are right. He IS the baby from last episode. Just got confirmation when he says “I’ve never been to the island before 2 weeks ago” and Faraday asks “Are you sure?” – yep. good call!
