In some additional Star Wars universe news, IMDb.com has a listing for an “Untitled Star Wars TV Series” set to start in 2009. Anthony Daniels is tied to this project, with Daniel Logan (pictured above) rumored to be involved.Boba Fett is arguably the most intriguing character in the entire Lucas Lore. To have his story involved in this can only mean one thing…it has to be cool. The plot line only acknowledges that the series is set between Episode III and IV.

    Have you read any of the expanded universe novels, and if so what titles would you say were the best. I have only read a few, and was not all that blown away by any of them except the Darth Bane books. I thought both “Path of Destruction” and ” Rule of Two” by Drew Karpyshyn were fantastic. The others I have tried to read had a tough time holding my interest, and I am a huge Star Wars fan. If you can recomend a book, Ill give it a shot, and if you havnt read the Bane books, I highly recomend them.

    I can’t say I’ve read any of the extended universe novels. I always felt it was too daunting a task to wade through the piles of fan fiction to get to the true gems.
    I have had minimal exposure to the Shadows of the Empire story and the Dash Rendar character, which I thought was pretty cool.
    I am highly anticipating the Clone Wars animated movie though…I am unsure how different it will be from the 2 volume arc that aired on Cartoon Network a few years ago though.
    I will take a look at the Karpyshyn stuff though since you recommend them so highly….Thanks
